Profile Summary

I am an accomplished biomedical researcher with a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from D.D.U. Gorakhpur University (2005) and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow (2013). My research career spans over 17 years, during which I have gained extensive experience in oncology, cancer biomarker research, and advanced molecular and biochemical techniques. During my Ph.D., I contributed to significant projects as a Research Assistant for the UPCST project and as a Senior Research Fellow in an ICMR project. In 2015, I was honored to receive the Women Scientist Fellowship from ICMR HRD-DHR, which further bolstered my commitment to advancing cancer research. In addition to my doctoral work, I served as a Research Officer in the Department of Pathology at King George’s Medical University, where my focus remained on cancer diagnostics and the identification of novel biomarkers. My post-doctoral research continued this trajectory, emphasizing the critical role of cancer biomarkers in diagnosis and treatment. I have a strong record of high-impact publications in respected journals such as PLOS ONE and Oral Oncology, contributing valuable knowledge to the field of human molecular oncology. My publication portfolio includes both national and international indexed journals. Furthermore, I have authored two books on cancer biomarkers and diagnostics, reflecting my deep commitment to advancing this crucial area of research. My dedication to cancer research has been recognized with the Best Paper Award for publications in high-impact journals on two occasions, as well as the Best Presentation Award at an international conference. I am an active member of several national and international academic organizations and serve as a reviewer for various peer-reviewed journals.
