Passionate about decoding the principles of brain organization through data science, machine learning, and quantitative biology. As an Assistant Professor at George Mason University, I design, develop, and teach one of the first undergraduate programs in the U.S., delivering hands-on courses in Computational Neuroscience and Neuroinformatics. My research integrates computational biology, computer vision, data science, and AI/ML to uncover the qualitative and quantitative principles that govern cell identity in the mammalian brain, leveraging terabyte-scale datasets (e.g., NeuroMorpho.Org). I lead and manage the entire Computational Neuroscience academic program, from curriculum creation to student mentoring and program growth. I also bring real-world perspective to the classroom, having previously served as Lead Data Scientist at MITRE and Senior Consultant at Deloitte.
