Hello,
I am a medical professional from India, with diverse experience in healthcare. After a clinical practice of 10 yrs, I pursued a fulltime MBA in pharma marketing. Since 2007, I was in the corporate healthcare industry, where I spent a decade in medical affairs. In this role, my major work has been the creation of medico-marketing strategies, educational content, leading clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies, creating manuscripts on the outcomes of studies, and working with senior physicians for publication of their research.
Additionally, I have been providing freelance medical writing/editing services since Dec 2016, based on requests from a medical communication agency. I am conversant with style guides, structuring of medical manuscripts, journal guidelines to be followed, conventions for formatting units, abbreviations, numerals, reference styles, common grammar and punctuation conventions, and differences between American and British English.
Since June 2020, I have launched my own medico-marketing and medical writing services. These include scientific content creation/literature for brands/generics, medical writing/editing services for publication in indexed medical journals, writing abstracts/posters for submissions to conferences, and CME support in terms of slide decks for speakers.
