Profile Summary

I am a nanomedicine researcher with extensive experience in the synthesis, characterization, and biomedical evaluation of iron-based nanoparticles for therapeutic applications. My research focuses on the development of multifunctional nanomaterials designed for clinical translation, particularly in the fields of cancer therapy and advanced drug delivery systems. My work involves the controlled synthesis of nanoparticles using surfactant-assisted approaches and the investigation of their physicochemical properties, including morphology, surface chemistry, and colloidal stability. I have significant experience with advanced characterization techniques such as electron microscopy, spectroscopic analysis, and surface chemistry analysis to understand nanoparticle structure–property relationships. A central aspect of my research is evaluating the biomedical performance of nanomaterials. I have worked extensively on studying the photothermal and photodynamic properties of nanoparticles and assessing their cytotoxicity and cellular biocompatibility in both malignant and non-malignant cell lines. I also conduct studies related to catalytic activity, including Fenton-type reactions relevant to reactive oxygen species generation in cancer therapy.
