Profile Summary

I am an Associate Professor of Bioinformatics at the Karolinska Institute with twenty years in clinical biostatistics and computational oncology. PhD in Medical Science, MBA. What I do most often: Statistical review and reviewer response. When reviewers raise methodological objections, I reanalyze the data, redo the figures, and draft the point-by-point response. Typical turnaround five days. Analysis for manuscripts and grants. Survival and time-to-event analysis, Cox regression, Kaplan-Meier, power and sample size calculations, biomarker-stratified and subgroup analyses, GWAS, multi-omic integration, machine learning applied to clinical outcomes. Study and trial design. Endpoint selection, powering, subgroup pre-specification, multiplicity handling. I have designed a Phase III protocol and served as site lead for a Phase IV trial. I have 37 peer-reviewed publications including in JAMA Neurology, Brain and Foundations of Computational Mathematics, and I taught biostatistics at Masters and PhD level. I work in R and Python. Most experienced in oncology, neurology, and autoimmune/inflammatory disorders, though the methods apply across clinical and biological research.
