Profile Summary

As a master’s student in molecular biotechnology and diagnostic by training I have a keen interest in immunoassay development and antibody study. Since, 2019 I am working in university of Turku as a Research Assistant. I am responsible to develop highly sensitive and specific glycovariant immunoassay for 5 different cancers; by immobilizing integrins and extra cellular vesicles (EVs) using anti-integrin and anti-tetraspanins mAbs as a capture and lectin / glycan-binding proteins coated onto Eu+-NPs as a tracer. During my thesis work, I focused on the characterization of the actin cytoskeleton regulators (FCHSD2 and FGD2) and their role in B lymphocytes. My approach was to study the loss of function using CRISPR/Cas9 system, characterization of the phenotypes and study defects in B cell activation in various in vitro experiments. My previous research was the expression and characterization of human VEGF121 isoform, in which I focused on sumo fusion technology for large scale production and expression in bacterial system.
