Profile Summary

10 years experience in biostatistics/bioinformatics. These days, most of my projects involve applying Bayesian modelling to different research questions, although I am also happy to do projects that involve classical statistics (hypothesis testing, frequentist regression models...). In addition, I am deeply interested in statistics education, and spend a lot of time teaching and developing educational content. I have had a diverse career path, and am therefore happy to take on work in a wide variety of domains - although most of my experience is in biomedicine and biology (especially evolutionary biology and genetics), I am always excited to get to know other fields as well. I also have extensive experience reviewing scientific papers, grant applications and presentations, both for the quality of the data analysis and visualisation, as well as for the clarity of the writing.
