Presently, I am directly engaged in an initiative as the Founder of the Bureau of Economic Research and Policy Development (BERPD), which is a research-based consorted platform to deliberate upon spearheading independent, stark and critical research and analysis on the imperatives and impediments faced by the Indian and the global economy, with a simple yet robust agenda to promote policy advocacy and expedite the developmental agenda of the nation.

I have an extensive working experience of five years with various think tanks including PHD Research Bureau, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, and Centre for WTO studies. Key domains that I've handled include International Trade, Relations and Investment; Sectoral analysis including Steel, Infrastructure, among others.

I was involved in enumerable projects during my working tenure at the aforementioned offices. Some of the key projects I was engaged in were Implication of Free Trade Agreements and other trade issues on Indian Chemical and Petrochemical Industry; Need and Feasibility of India’s Bilateral Free Trade Agreement with Israel; Trade impact of WP29 on India: An analysis of the possible effect of adopting UNECE 1958 agreement; among others.

I have a Masters in Economics, Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Statistics and B.A. (Honours) Economics. Apart from the aforementioned skills, I am proficient in Base and Advance SAS, E-views, Core Analytics among others. I am currently pursuing Machine Learning through Python and Actuarial Science. I have an experience of working on tools such as SAS, Eviews for panel data estimation, data mining, descriptive statistics, basic multivariate regression and predictive modelling techniques, time series forecasting, ANOVA, exploratory data analysis and regression diagnostics, control charts for process and product control, optimization techniques.

I am an avid writer and researcher. Over the years, I have contributed various research papers, articles, book chapters, conference papers, among others including a chapter titled "Demystifying demonetization and its impact on the digital economy" with Dr. SP Sharma in the book "Demonetization: What lies ahead for Indian Economy?" by Prabhat Pankaj and Sheenu Jain. I have also co-authored a Research Paper titled "SAARC: A quest for hidden potential in a hay of blatant inefficiencies - A gravity approach" and presented at Conference on Empirical Issues in International Trade and Finance - IIFT and a study titled “Reshaping India-Africa Trade: Dynamics and Export Potentiality of Indian products in African Markets” in July 2017 at PHD Chamber among various others.

Despite my focus domain being international trade and investments, I call myself a comprehensive economist with a flair for grasping diverse subjects and understand their intricacies in the process. I am significantly attracted towards economic policies, monetary and international economics and econometric analysis. I believe my research approach is very strong, wherein I try to associate econometric and critical results with logical economic theories and base. Having said that, I believe in the culmination of hard work and smart work while thriving under pressure. Through constant and consistent research, I aim to strengthen the existing policy environment while constantly brainstorming about the potential impediments in the future, in whatsoever way possible.
