Profile Summary

I'm a biomedical scientist, I did my PhD in oncology at Amsterdam UMC and an MSc in Biomedical Sciences from Utrecht University. My research and training sit across oncology, regenerative medicine, neuroscience, diabetic kidney disease research, small molecules and translational drug development, so I'm comfortable moving between preclinical biology, disease models, EMA regulations for drug development and the questions that come up as therapies move from bench to clinic. My expertise rages from experimental study design, data interpretation, literature review, and the practical realities of academic and translational research. I can adapt to new disciplines quickly and give clear, structured answers to complex questions. Beyond the lab, I've also build a company in the movement space where I am in charge of content, communication and product development, and I'm currently also building a fintech product, where I lead the product side including customer journey mapping, competitive analysis, and shaping how the product fits real user needs. I take on scientific writing, literature reviews, study design input, second opinions on research, product and market research with a scientific lens, and consulting work where a mix of research rigor and applied thinking is useful.
