I am a highly accomplished nanotechnology and energy storage researcher with expertise in supercapacitors, lithium-ion batteries (silicon anodes), and advanced nanomaterials synthesis. With over four years of extensive R&D experience across academia and industry, I specialize in designing, fabricating, and optimizing high-performance electrode materials for next-generation energy storage systems. My work spans the synthesis of 1D, 2D, and 3D nanomaterials, fabrication of conductive electrodes, and in-depth electrochemical characterization to enhance material performance for various applications. Currently, I am engaged in industrial research at Nanospan India Pvt. Ltd., spearheading projects on Silicon-Graphene Nanocomposite Anodes for lithium-ion batteries. My role encompasses material engineering, slurry preparation, electrode fabrication (doctor blade coating, calendaring, die cutting and crimping), and electrochemical characterization (CV, EIS, GCD). Additionally, I have led the Nanospan-IITH collaboration focused on high-energy-density anode materials for lithium-ion batteries. Previously, as a Junior and Senior Research Fellow (JRF/SRF) at JNTUH Institute of Science & Technology, I played a key role in a DST-SERB-funded project on nano-hybrid supercapacitors, establishing an R&D Energy Storage Lab and mentoring research fellows in materials synthesis and electrochemical analysis. In addition to energy storage applications, I have extensive experience in R&D project drafting for nanogenerators, electrochemical biosensors for early breast cancer detection, and nanomaterial-based innovations across diverse applications. My expertise in proposal development, technical documentation, and grant writing has contributed to securing research funding and advancing novel material-driven technologies. With a robust background in material science and electrochemical energy storage, I have successfully published nine research papers, authored five book chapters, and secured two granted patents in supercapacitors and advanced nanomaterials. My expertise extends to patent drafting, intellectual property consultation, and technology commercialization strategies, enabling me to bridge the gap between fundamental research and industrial applications. I am also adept at preparing high-impact R&D proposals tailored for funding agencies and industrial collaborations. My academic qualifications include a Ph.D. (ongoing) in Nanoscience and technology from JNTUH, where I am pioneering research on high-performance flexible hybrid supercapacitors. Additionally, I hold an M.Tech in Nanotechnology, focusing on metal oxide-carbon nanocomposite electrodes for hybrid supercapacitors, and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
