Profile Summary

I am a bioinformatician with 2+ years of experience in end-to-end genomic data analysis, pipeline development, and scalable workflow engineering. My work spans single-cell RNA-seq, bulk RNA-seq, whole-genome sequencing, and long-read sequencing (Oxford Nanopore/ONT), with hands-on experience in both clinical and research settings. At Mount Sinai Hospital (Sinai Health, Toronto), I built production-grade RNA-seq pipelines for 130+ thyroid cancer samples, contributed to gnomAD-Canada (Canada's first genome aggregation database), and ran GWAS workflows for large-scale genetic datasets on HPC and cloud (AWS, GCP). At Elucidata, I work on client-facing bioinformatics delivery projects including isoform quantification in single-cell long-read RNA-seq — currently benchmarking ONT-based tools against published ground truth datasets for a pharma client.
