Reine Suzanne Kadia is an epidemiologist, humanitarian leader, and public health researcher with extensive experience working in resource-constrained and displacement settings in Cameroon. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Belosy Africa, a community-based organization dedicated to empowering internally displaced women through livelihood support, social integration, advocacy, and reproductive health initiatives. Through her leadership, Belosy Africa has supported over 1,000 displaced women across multiple communities and strengthened partnerships with governmental and humanitarian stakeholders to improve protection and social inclusion services for vulnerable populations. With more than 10 years of experience in disease surveillance, community health, and humanitarian programming, her work focuses on the intersection of health, displacement, gender vulnerability, and disaster response. She has contributed to public health interventions involving maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), HIV prevention, data management, field research, and monitoring and evaluation in fragile contexts. Her research interests center on SRHR inequalities among internally displaced women, maternal and reproductive health in humanitarian settings, and the integration of indigenous and community-based knowledge into healthcare delivery systems. She is particularly passionate about generating evidence that informs inclusive health policies and strengthens access to quality healthcare for marginalized and underserved populations in Sub-Saharan Africa.
