I have been working as Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientifics, a Biotechnology Company, since March 2014. I am trained in microbiology, molecular biology, cell culture. Before my current position, I was doing my postdoctoral research in Plant Biology at Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU), India. I have accomplished my part of the work along with managing my team. I completed my PhD in Microbiology from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India. My doctoral research was on ‘Nitrate signaling and assimilation in Spirulina platensis’ under the guidance of Dr. B Vani, Assistant Professor, BITS. The work involved molecular biology, computational biology and biochemistry.
