Profile Summary

My academic and professional work integrates clinical orthodontics with research in dental materials and biomedical sciences. I hold a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and am currently completing a PhD at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb, where my research focuses on bioactive composite materials, including material characterization, ion‑release kinetics, and structure–property relationships. I am also enrolled in a Master’s program in Orthodontics at the Università degli Studi di Ferrara, further strengthening my foundation in evidence‑based orthodontic diagnostics and treatment planning. My research experience includes mechanical testing, SEM/EDS analysis, FTIR spectroscopy, and quantitative evaluation of bioactive glass–reinforced composites. I have participated in academic and clinical research projects in dental materials and biomedical sciences, contributing to methodological development, data interpretation, and scientific dissemination. In parallel with academic work, I have developed strong expertise in digital orthodontic workflows, including cephalometric interpretation, radiographic analysis, and comprehensive orthodontic treatment planning. I have also performed CBCT interpretation and cephalometric analysis for an external radiology center, providng structured diagnostic reports, skeletal assessments, and incidental findings review. My clinical experience covers clear aligner therapy as well as fixed and removable orthodontic appliances. I routinely work with segmentation, 3D setup design, tooth movement staging, attachment planning, and IPR strategy development, informed by systems such as Invisalign, SureSmile, ClearCorrect, and NemoStudio. This combined clinical and scientific background enables me to provide rigorous, evidence‑based support for orthodontic diagnostics, radiographic interpretation, and dental materials research, as well as methodological guidance for academic and industry‑based research projects.
