Profile Summary

I am a Physician Investigator for clinical research trials with more than 20 years of experience in the clinical research industry. I have authored several articles in peer-reviewed research journals and participated in industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials. Currently, I serve as a physician investigator for clinical research trials across multiple clinical phases and in several therapeutic areas including diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, fatty liver disease (NAFLD), non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Migraine Headache, Neuropathic Pain, COPD, and Alzheimer's Disease. I currently participate in key aspects of the clinical research drug development process that ultimately helps pharmaceutical drug companies to successfully bring new drugs and medical devices to the market. I participate in Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, and Phase 4 clinical trials. I am also currently the Clinical Director of a multi-phase clinical research organization. In this capacity, I supervise and manage key aspects of the Clinical Research Trial Process including overseeing Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions, Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) negotiation, and clinical trial budget negotiation. I routinely work with a broad range of pharmaceutical companies from large multinational companies with an extensive drug pipeline, to small biotech companies with a single drug candidate. Companies I have routinely worked with include Pfizer, Merck, AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly, Arena Pharmaceuticals, Abbott, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Sanofi among others. I consistently work directly with a number of Contract Research Organizations (CROs) including IQVIA, ICON, Parexel, Syneos, LabCorp, PPD, Worldwide Clinical Trials, and Medpace among others. I also work with clinical trial recruitment companies such as WCG ThreeWire, AutoCruitment, SubjectWell, StudyKik, Elligo Health Research, and WorldWide Clinical Trials among others.
