Profile Summary

After more than 6 years of experience in academic-scientific research, my goal is to transition to a career in the Medical Writer field. I have an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), with international experience in Marseille (France). During my scientific-professional work, I participated in research projects in basic science, aiming at the study of neuropsychiatric diseases, particularly with an emphasis on drug use in adolescence. In addition to being responsible for my research project, I was also able to collaborate with another research group, which resulted in one published article. My activities in graduate school directly or indirectly allowed me to create great skills such as the ability to self-manage my time because, in addition to my project, I also managed my team and performed routine/maintenance activities in the laboratory. Likewise, the experience of graduate studies improved my scientific communication for different audiences, as evidenced by presentations at different international congresses and by the teaching activity for undergraduate students.
