Profile Summary

I am an enthusiastic, post-doctoral fellow motivated by translational research. My expertise are in cellular and molecular biology with a keen interest in signalling aberrations.

I am currently working on therapeutic alternatives to overcome drug resistance using combination therapy that targets well known oncogenic pathways in brain cancer. My interest is on the bench to bedside transition of research hence I focus on drug responses and potential resistance development.  
In addition to my research experience in oncology and cancer biology, I have extensive software engineering expertise in analysis, design, coding and testing. My hope is to harness my learnability and computational knowledge for the best of cancer research to achieve better outcomes for patients.

Community engagement is vital for science progression as any cure comes from both public awareness and scientific expertise. Hence, I actively look for opportunities to explore and communicate science outside the lab. I do this by mentoring high school students about healthy lifestyle and conducting cutting edge research and by writing a health blog focused on disease prevention and deep insights on food habits.
