Profile Summary

I am a Ph.D.-trained Structural Biologist and Biopharmaceutical Scientist with over 10 years of international academic and industry experience in structural biology, protein biochemistry, therapeutic antibodies, and biologics process development. I have conducted research and led projects at ETH Zurich (Switzerland), INSA Toulouse (France), Uppsala University (Sweden), and Biocon Biologics (India), combining fundamental research with industrial product development. My expertise includes protein expression, purification and characterization, structural biology, downstream process development for monoclonal and bispecific antibodies, chromatography, biophysical characterization, NMR spectroscopy, experimental design, statistical data analysis, and scientific writing. At Biocon Biologics, I led downstream process development and technology transfer projects for biosimilar and novel therapeutic antibodies, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and support CMC documentation. My academic research has focused on protein aggregation, neurodegenerative diseases, lipoproteins, protein structure-function relationships, and antibiotic resistance mechanisms using advanced structural biology and biophysical techniques. I have authored seven peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, including Nature, Nature Communications, PNAS, eLife, Journal of Biological Chemistry, FEBS Letters, and Journal of Biomolecular NMR. I also have extensive teaching and mentoring experience, having delivered over 400 hours of undergraduate and graduate STEM instruction at ETH Zurich while supervising Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. students.
