Profile Summary

I am a Consultant Dermatologist with nearly 20 years of exposure to dermatology, starting from residency training in 2006. I completed my MD in Dermatology in 2009 and have since worked across both large academic institutions and busy clinical settings in Nepal. I am currently an Associate Professor at B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, where I am actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, clinical services, and research. My academic work includes supervising MD theses and undergraduate research projects for over a decade. I have published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles as a primary and co-author, including multiple case reports and clinical studies. My main research interests are allergic and atopic disorders, with ongoing work on atopy trends, insulin resistance in androgenetic alopecia, and hematological changes in leprosy. Alongside academics, I have over 15 years of experience advising pharmaceutical companies and cosmetic brands on dermatology, skin health, and product safety. I am comfortable with evidence appraisal, systematic reviews, protocol development, and clinical advisory roles. I am particularly interested in teledermatology consultations, medical advisory work, and skin health–related research collaborations.
