Profile Summary

I am a passionate researcher with PhD in composite materials. I am proficient in composite materials manufacture with embedded optical fibre sensors for in-situ real-time Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). I have work experience in manufacturing, mechanical characterisation, optimisation, manufacturing of fibre reinforced composite through 2/3-dimensional textile and conventional laminates using carbon, glass fibre in thermoplastic and thermoset polymer matrix. I have experience using conventional and optimised optical fibre (FBG and DOF) to develop smart composite structures for structural health monitoring. With over 9 years of lecturing, research & development at several Universities and Industries, I have been part of and managed several projects. I have published several peer reviewed journals with excellent writing skill.
