I am expert in marine spatial planning and kelp forest ecology. I lead marine spatial planning projects in Spain and Mexico, coordinating many researchers from Europe, USA, and Mexico. I can support the development of marine spatial plans, from early stages such as defining the biophysical design principles for networks of marine reserves or supporting data gap analysis, to workshop organization, capacity building and Marxan analysis. I am also a kelp forest ecologist leading underwater monitoring programs and a climate change expert.
