Profile Summary

I am a bioinformatics scientist with an MPhil in Bioinformatics from the University of Melbourne and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. My expertise lies in genomic and transcriptomic data analysis, reproducible pipeline development, and computational tool evaluation. I have extensive experience working with whole-exome (WES), whole-genome (WGS), bulk and single-cell RNA-seq, and spatial transcriptomics data, using tools such as R, Python, and Bash in Linux/HPC environments. I develop and maintain scalable workflows (Nextflow, Docker, Singularity) for clinical and research genomics, ensuring reproducibility and compliance with best practices. My past projects include integrating multi-omics data to identify biomarkers in cancer immunogenomics, developing the IMPACT Nextflow pipeline for WES immunogenomic analysis, and extending the deconstructSigs R package to support indel mutational signatures. I have collaborated with clinicians, wet-lab scientists, and computational teams to deliver clear, actionable results.
