WHAT I DO My research is focused on glaciers, permafrost and snow in alpine and arctic environments, combining fieldwork and remote sensing (e.g. satellite imagery). Currently, I am working at a research center (Centro de Estudios Avanzados en Zonas Áridas) based in La Serena, Chile, as a researcher and am a Guest Editor for the Journal Frontiers and iScience.
