Profile Summary

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical and Aeronautic Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), with a MSc degree by research in Materials Science and Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, China. My current research focuses on developing novel nanostructured electrode materials for post Li-ion metal batteries. Our research is currently focused on Na ion and Na metal batteries for next-gen energy storage technologies. My area of interest is synthesis of defect-engineered carbon based nanomaterials using electrospinning technique. I also have 2+ years of experience in the synthesis of metal organic frameworks (MOFs), covalent organic frameworks (COFs) and MXenes.
