Profile Summary

I am a Prime Minister's Research Fellow and PhD candidate at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, with an MS from IIT Kharagpur. With over six years of research experience, I focus on the intersection of sustainability, air quality, and climate change, incorporating climate risk analysis into my work. My PhD research emphasizes the use of climate models and AI/ML techniques to assess hyperlocal air quality and its public health impacts under future climate scenarios. By separating the impacts of anthropogenic emissions and meteorology, my goal is to provide actionable insights for sustainable environmental policies that mitigate health risks, address exposure disparities, and support climate resilience. I also led a six-member team to win the Smart India Hackathon 2022 by developing a machine-learning tool to predict the impact of air pollution on solar power generation. Additionally, I contributed as an air quality modeler to a team that ranked 8th out of 702 global participants in NASA's Airathon: Predict Air Quality competition. Through climate risk analysis and data-driven insights, I aim to support the development of sustainable, impactful climate policies that benefit both public health and environmental resilience.
