Profile Summary

I am a PhD qualified researcher in Safety Science and Engineering specializing in fire dynamics, enclosure fires, moving fire phenomena, and fire behaviour in underground tunnel environments. My research focuses on understanding complex fire induced flow, smoke propagation, heat transfer, and temperature evolution. I have extensive practical experience in model scale fire experiments and the interpretation of experimental fire data. My doctoral research particularly examined moving train fires in subway tunnels and the interaction between train movement, tunnel ventilation conditions, smoke transport, flow field development, and thermal behaviour. I provide independent scientific and technical consulting for researchers, engineering teams, universities, laboratories, and organizations working on complex fire dynamics problems.
