Profile Summary

I hold a Ph.D. in Biodiversity and Ecology and am currently based in Sweden. My research focuses on the analysis and generation of whole-genome sequencing data from hundreds of individuals of Darwin’s finches, an iconic study system in evolutionary biology. My previous research has also involved the analysis of large acoustic datasets, as well as ecological and statistical modelling. Alongside my research, I have successfully secured several national and international research grants, including a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) fellowship, and have extensive experience communicating science to different audiences. I am therefore happy to provide methodological advice and support with scientific communication, including scientific writing for research papers, grant proposals, theses, and communication aimed at non-specialist audiences. Drawing on my experience across different stages of an academic career, I also provide academic coaching and mentoring. This can include thesis and dissertation planning, publication strategies, time and project management, career and postdoctoral planning, and navigating the practical and personal challenges of academic research. I also offer non-clinical wellbeing support for academics who would benefit from an experienced peer to talk to about the pressures and challenges of academic life.
