Dr. Mark Grier has over 24 years of experience in drug discovery, where I have directed and managed research projects across various therapeutic areas. My extensive industrial background includes collaboration with academic groups focused on innovative drug discovery for novel targets. My research includes directing investigations into small molecule inhibitors, targeted degraders, and antibody-drug conjugates, as well as exploring new mechanisms and chemical modalities. He holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry and completed two years of post-doctoral research in drug discovery. Dr. Grier has a strong track record with over 25 patents and publications in medicinal chemistry and contributed to the co-development of two marketed pharmaceuticals, NUZYRA® and SEYSARA®. In addition to my expertise in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery, I have expertise and working knowledge of computational tools, DEL and FBDD screening, automation chemistry, and AI/ML applications for drug discovery.
