Profile Summary

I am a geneticist with 22 years of professional experience in human genetics and biotechnology. My research focuses on the epidemiology and genetics of ENT-related diseases, including: Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), Allergic and fungal sinusitis, Asthma (particularly in the context of upper airway disease), Genetic hearing loss. I have published 14 peer-reviewed research papers and presented my work at more than 25 national and international conferences. In recognition of my scientific contributions, I was awarded the RULA Best Researcher in Genetics Award in 2019. In addition to my role as a Scientist at MAA Research Foundation, I bring 13 years of teaching experience with graduate and postgraduate students at Osmania University. I also served as a Guest Faculty member for 5 years at the L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, where I contributed to interdisciplinary training in genetics and sensory disorders.
