About Me I am an analytical chemist holding a PhD in innovative analytical methodologies applied to plant-based dietary supplements. My doctoral research focused on the separation, purification, and characterization of specific phytochemical markers, combining cutting-edge chromatographic techniques with a strong regulatory perspective. During my PhD, I developed HPLC/MS, HPLC/HRMS, CPC and HPTLC-MS methods for the isolation, purification and identification of phytochemical markers from complex plant extracts, in compliance with European Pharmacopoeia monographs. This work combined full method development, preparative scale-up, and structural elucidation by NMR. Beyond the bench, I authored two comprehensive reference chapters published in Techniques de l'Ingénieur — the leading French technical encyclopedia — covering both the analytical tools available for phytochemical quality control and the evolving regulatory framework governing plant-based supplements in France and the EU. Prior to and alongside my research, I gained 2 years of hands-on pharmaceutical QC experience at Novartis and Galderma, working across R&D and production environments. My responsibilities spanned analytical method development and validation (ICH guidelines), raw material and finished product testing, and stability studies — applied to small molecule drugs, dermatological topicals, and solid oral dosage forms.
