I received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2008 from the Universidad de La Salle (Bogotá, Colombia); in 2011 I received my Master of Veterinary Sciences degree from the same Institution. I finished my PhD in Pathobiology at the Department of Pathobiology, Ontario Veterinary College (University of Guelph). I finished my Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2020 and currently work as a Research Associate at the University of Guelph. I have published several scientific papers and have extensive experience in scientific writing. I have also successfully applied for several prestigious grants. I have also completed multiple courses in flow cytometry and microscopy.
