Profile Summary

I am a PhD-qualified Academic Research Consultant, Senior Lecturer, and Head of the Department of Management Studies at The University of the West Indies, with more than 20 years of experience in university teaching, research, graduate supervision, and consultancy. My primary expertise is qualitative research methodology, and I have successfully supervised more than 40 Master's dissertations while currently supervising doctoral candidates. I provide expert guidance throughout the research process, including research design, proposal development, literature reviews, interview and focus group design, thematic analysis, qualitative content analysis, and academic writing. While qualitative research is my core specialization, I also support clients with quantitative and mixed methods research design. My subject expertise includes tourism, hospitality, customer experience, service quality, sports and events management, and management studies. Throughout my career, I have collaborated with universities, government agencies, and industry partners on research, consultancy, curriculum development, and policy-related projects. I am the author of four scholarly books published by leading academic publishers, including CABI, The University of the West Indies Press, Palgrave Macmillan, and Ashgate. My research has contributed to the advancement of knowledge in tourism, hospitality, customer experience, and service quality, particularly within Small Island Developing States (SIDS). I am committed to providing ethical, high-quality research support that empowers clients to strengthen their own work.
