Profile Summary

The majority of my career has been spent in both academic and edtech spaces. My early career focused on academic research and writing, as a doctoral graduate in Life Sciences from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. My academic specialties cover microbiology, biochemistry, cancer biology, and immunology. As a result of my academic research, I have been the first or co-author on 7 peer-reviewed articles from world-renowned academic journals with reputable impact factors (including the Journal of Immunology, Mucosal Immunology, eLife, and Scientific Reports). I have an h-index of 5 with over 100 citations, to date. More recently, I have entered the edtech space as an instructional designer where I have used my research and writing abilities to help design course curricula as well as to curate and write content for online short courses.
