AI Researcher — Federated Learning, Privacy-Preserving ML & LLM Systems | NeurIPS, AAAI, INFOCOM, ICDM | 600+ citations

Profile Summary

I’m an AI researcher with six years of experience building and evaluating machine learning systems, with 600+ citations and publications at NeurIPS, AAAI, IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE ICDM, Computers & Security and Computer Communications. Please find my full publications at: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=y6-LtiIAAAAJ&hl=en. I have also mentored 10+ students in research and they have succesfully, make them publish at Q1 and A* journals and conferences. Some of them are currently working at Amazon AI and Microsoft Research. My core specialisation is federated and privacy-preserving machine learning: training models across data that cannot be pooled or shared. I’ve built federated frameworks for intrusion detection on IoT and network traffic, for clinical data spread across silos with mismatched modalities, and for settings with severe class imbalance and heterogeneous feature spaces. I also work on data poisoning and robustness, federated unlearning for targeted data removal, and the compliance questions that come with all of it. Alongside this I build production LLM systems: retrieval-augmented generation with hybrid and cross-encoder reranking pipelines, multi-agent workflows, and automated literature and peer-review analysis. I’ve shipped these at scale as a founding AI engineer and currently run an AI-native research platform. What I can help you with Federated learning design, implementation and benchmarking Privacy-preserving ML where data cannot leave its source Custom ML and deep learning models for tabular, time-series, signal and image data RAG and multi-agent LLM systems over technical or scientific corpora Model evaluation, reliability and reproducibility audits Research design, literature review and manuscript preparation for peer-reviewed venues I work end to end, from problem formulation through to a documented, reproducible deliverable, and I’m comfortable writing results up to publication standard. Based in India, available across EU and US-overlapping hours.
