Hi, my name is Kevin. I'm an early career scientist with a passion for the Earth Sciences. My specialty is connecting aspects of Earth Science, whether it be geographic relations or physical laws, to modern advances in data science and machine learning. To accomplish this, I leverage the open-source datascience ecosystem to develop concise, effective, and robust software solutions to tech, research and engineering problems. My geophysics expertise is quite interdisciplinary; I am quite experienced in signal processing, inversion theory, high performance compute, DAS, magnetotellurics, and ambient noise tomography. Additionally, I am one of the few geophysicists coming from academia with extensive experience in clean coding, object oriented design patterns, and software architecting. Recently, my specialty has been in developing graphical user interfaces for data exploration, and refactoring matlab code to be cleaner, faster, and more modular in python.
