Profile Summary

I carried out work involving intracellular signaling and the study of the mechanism of action of new molecules with therapeutic potential, for example, for cancer and hypertension. Still, I worked on topics such as apoptosis, endocytosis, intracellular traffic, stress of the endoplasmic reticulum and pathways related to the production of nitric oxide. I was also a collaborator and participant in the CENTD (Center of Excellence in New Target Discovery) - partnership Butantan Institute / FAPESP / GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) .- in the validation of therapeutic targets that allow the creation of new drugs for inflammatory diseases. Currently, I work in the Immuno-Oncology group at the Cancer Center AC Camargo as Senior Scientific Technician in several projects that aim to discover new immunotherapy targets to fight cancer and biomarkers that can indicate which patients will or will not respond to immunotherapy, in addition to identify those who may develop adverse events. This panorama of experiences added to my trajectory in the pharmaceutical industry and other sectors, I consider that my professional experience allows me to have a unique view on the market associated with the health area, since I was able to experience the phases of discovery of promising drug candidates, understand the stage of development of these products, production and commercialization and how it impacts patients and society.
