Profile Summary

My primary interests are based around immune cell biology, particularly how immune cells are capable of performing wide ranging functions and how they adapt to different environmental cues. I am an active researcher in fields including immunology, meta-research and open-access. My research has crossed species, including fruit flies, mice and humans. Furthermore, I hold interests in science communication, open access and career development for academics. My previous research focussed on fibrosis biology and I have experience with healthcare related innovations (consultancy). I also host, produce and write a science podcast (Preprints in Motion) and will be executive producing a new series.
