Profile Summary

I have completed my doctorate in forensic odontology in 2014 and continued my research by working in the department of Anthropology as a research assistant. During this tenure, I worked on prevalence of periodontal disease and attrition among North western adult Indians. After that, I was awarded a post doctoral fellowship to study an association between trace and toxic elements with behavioral problems among adolescents. I have published 12 research articles in journals of national and international repute. A chaper on introduction to microbial forensics has also been published in a book "Microbial diversity, intervention and scope". Along with the research work I was actively involved in teaching the postgraduate diploma students of forensic science and criminology at panjab university, chandigarh, India.
