Profile Summary

I am a chemist with a doctorate in Cellular and Molecular Biology. I have more than 23 years of experience as a researcher and university professor, including master's and doctoral advisor, and head of a research laboratory linked to the university. My experience is strongly interdisciplinary, covering the areas of Toxicology, Computational & Medicinal Chemistry, Cheminformatics and Bioinformatics. I was also involved in projects focused on technological innovation. I had the opportunity to participate in committees dedicated to improving product development processes from academic research, for instance: * Steering Committee Member at Innovation Network in Health Technologies (RIT Saúde ULBRA) * Steering Committee Member at Research Center on Product Development (CEPPED ULBRA) * As Coordinator of the Professional Master's Program in Applied Genetics and Toxicology (PPGGTA-MP ULBRA) After a period working at the University, I founded together with partners the enterprise In Silico Solutions, a start-up focused on the use of computational methodologies for drug discovery and toxicological risk assessment. The company has the knowledge to perform in silico toxicological risk assessments following best practices and protocols for regulatory acceptance and/or preclinical research.
