Profile Summary

I am a senior researcher and an academic consultant specializing in health sciences with a focus on: quantitative and qualitative research, medical education, public health, epidemiology, injury and disease prevention, physiology and general health education. During my time as a professional and academic over the last eight years, I have developed a passion for teaching, research and writing. In line with these passions, I look forward to imparting my knowledge, skills and values. I have been exposed to a variety of company dynamics, research, teaching and learning, staff supervision, grants application writing, accreditation processes, ethical laws, quality assurance, equity of access and organizational policies which are imperative for developing an intuition and research-led framework for successful writing. I have assessed over 100 literature reviews and thesis for post-graduate students. I have also written a number of papers and reviews for clients, which excludes more than 15 of my international accredited academic publications in high impact journals. I also have experience in assisting post-graduate students with their research writing and editing their theses prior to submission for examination. In addition, I had also served on the Health24 forum as an expert and writer between 2012 and 2017 sharing key insights and articles on a variety of health and lifestyle topics. I believe that my training and eight years’ experience in academia, working with students and professionals alike, has prepared me to be effective for an array of projects.
