My Masters and PhD have both involved the design, fabrication, and measurement of photonic nanostructures, for light trapping in solar cells, and for photonic biosensors, respectively. I have 5 years experience in cleanroom fabrication using, for example, electron beam lithography, and I have constructed a number of bespoke optical measurement setups during my research.
