Dr. George C. Efthimiou is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at National Center for Scientific Research "DEMOKRITOS", Greece. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Macedonia, Greece (2013). His research interests include the numerical modeling of environmental flows and pollutant dispersion in urban and industrial environments with special emphasis on the prediction of individual exposure from the release of hazardous airborne materials. He has published research papers in scientific journals as well as in conference proceedings. He participated in the Working Committee of COST Action ES1006 and COST Action 732.
