I have been working on different areas of cell and molecular biology, like membrane traffic, small GTPases, Eph-ephrin and Wnt signaling, NADPH oxidases, peroxidases and extracellular matrix-cell interactions. I routinely apply several molecular and cell biology techniques in the lab, like DNA cloning, RNAi, protein purification, western blot, plate-reader-based lumino- and fluorometry, confocal microscopy, culture of primary and immortalized cells, setting up genotyping protocols for novel mouse strains. I also have been teaching medical physiology for 15+ years.
