Profile Summary

I am a wildlife ecologist and environmental consultant from Benin, West Africa, with a PhD in Forestry and Wildlife Management (National University of Agriculture, 2022, Highest Distinction) and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Bordeaux, France (MOPGA Fellowship, French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 2023-2024). My research focuses on large African mammals using species distribution modelling (MaxEnt, kuenm2, ensemble approaches under SSP4.5/SSP8.5 climate scenarios), stable isotope analysis (δ¹³C, δ¹⁸O, etc.) to reconstruct dietary and movement patterns, and population genetics. I built the first stable isotope reference dataset for West African suids in collaboration with the American Museum of Natural History (New York), UMR 5199 PACEA, and my MSCA-PF proposal on Saharan cheetah conservation was awarded the EU Seal of Excellence (93.40%) by the European Commission. On the consulting side, I have completed 15+ missions for the World Bank, GEF, AFD, African Parks Network, and the Beninese Ministry of Environment, covering ESIA, biodiversity inventories, carbon credit audits, and wildlife census across classified forests. I am available for freelance missions in SDM, biodiversity assessment, EIA, data analysis in R, scientific writing, and ecological consulting for projects in Africa and beyond.
