I am a doctor in immunology. I have experience in the field of HIV/AIDS, Dengue and Zika virus. During my career I had experience in HIV pathogenesis, including studies to understand the immunological restoration during antiretroviral therapy (ART) and modulation of activation of monocytes subtypes in HIV infected individuals users of illicit drugs during my doctoral studies at Federal University of Goias, Brazil (2014-2018). In my master's degree I worked with the action of snake venom on cell cytotoxicity. During my career, I had access to technologies in flow cytometry and real-time PCR, and also worked with cell culture, ELISA and Endotoxin assay kits. I was responsible for preparing and conducting research projects in the field of immunology involving a team of undergraduate students that resulted in scientific article. I also worked with health service administration in the public health system.
