I am a dynamic Labor and Health Economist with nearly 20 years of experience in outcomes research across academic, governmental and industrial sectors. I have expansive research experience examining the effects of differences in key right-hand side (RHS) socioeconomic and demographic variables on policy relevant health outcomes and labor market outcomes. I have comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated expertise in statistics/applied econometrics (e.g., limited dependent variable models, decomposition analysis, survival modeling, and causal inference techniques such as instrumental variables estimation) as well as decision analytic modeling and evidence synthesis. I have published in various peer-reviewed journals, mentored Masters-level and Ph.D.-level research scientists, collaborated with private consultancy firms, and continue to serve as a referee for various peer reviewed journals and professional organizations. What I can provide Scientific consulting and guidance to persons/organizations interested in: (1) Crafting/writing of research proposals; analyzing nationally representative publicly-available (e.g., NLSY, HRS GSS, NHIS, MEPS, NHANES, PSID) and proprietary (e.g., Marketscan, Optum CDM, Premier Healthcare, Humana, CPRD) micro- and macro-datasets; analyzing data using statistical packages such as Stata and SAS to generate descriptive statistics, multivariable and multivariate statistics, causal inference, predictive modeling including Limited Dependent Variable Models, Decomposition Analysis, Survival modeling, D-in-D, ITS, IV, and Causal Inference Techniques such as Instrumental Variables Estimation.
