Profile Summary

I hold an MSC in Logistics, data Analytics, and Supply Chain Management from the University of Bradford, UK. I also hold a master’s degree in public health from Central University of Nicaragua, MSc and a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory sciences (BMLS) from the University of Calabar, Cross River State in Nigeria. I have also undertaken several leadership and management certificates in Health Programs, like: Health Systems strengthening, Supply chain Management, Managing Immunization programs, infectious Disease surveillance, Health Information Management System from WHO, University of Washington and USAID/Global Health learning Centre. I have over 10 years working experience in health systems strengthening program management at senior level, with various International Organizations providing technical support to the Government and Private sectors to strengthen the health systems for pandemic response and control. My core duties have been providing technical expertise to the governments through their Federal Ministries of health to develop policies, strategies, and guidelines for healthcare services, and resources management. Health service quality management and facilities accreditation; diagnostic, and referral network design, development, and management. Presently, I work with the technical review Panel of the Global Fund for AIDS, TB, and Malaria in Geneva, Switzerland as a Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health Expert. My role is to review the Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) component of the funding requests submitted by various countries, make recommendations for funding, and use the lessons learned to advise the GF board on the development and implementation of the Global fund strategy for HSS. I also provide support for health systems recovery to countries in crises in the areas of health infrastructure restoration, financial resources estimation, program planning and evaluation including service integration into the Primary Health Care (PHC). My interest is to become a very valuable part of leadership Team focussing on building a resilience, and sustainable global health systems for disease prevention, response and control. My combined practical experience as a Medical laboratory Scientist, Public health Specialist, Logistics, and supply chain management; with my vast working experience in health systems strengthening programs gives me an added advantage in programs planning and management for disease diagnosis, and surveillance; Health commodities/products security, health resources (infrastructure, human and financial) estimation, and management, as well as health information management systems which have been core components of my various jobs.
