My program of research focuses broadly on environmental sustainability and social change. I have received several awards for my research (e.g. Alta Sustainability Research Award) in addition to grants from competitive national organizations (e.g. the National Science Foundation). I am fluent in a variety of methods, including GIS, spatial statistics, ethnography, survey-based research, participatory mapping, and participatory action research. I have worked on a wide breadth of research, writing, and educational projects and am capable of tailoring products to both academic and non-academic audiences.
