Profile Summary

I started as an experimental condensed matter Physicist working on Organic Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSC), Titania nanotubes for wastewater treatment, Magnetic exchange bias in Nanomaterials and nanoparticles, Fabrication, and characterization of permanent magnets, Low-temperature studies of Colossal Magneto-resistive manganite. After attending the Fourth International Berkeley-GW workshop in December 2017 at University of California, Berkeley, I started my journey in computational condensed Matter Physics and materials Science during my MS at the University of Arkansas. After learning state-of-art techniques using Green’s functions for fermions to simulate excitons in 1D nanomaterials, I ventured into learning applications of Green’s functions for bosonic systems and its application theoretical investigation of phonons is nanomaterials during my Ph.D. I can list my skills as follows: Solid state Physics, Nanomaterials, Materials Science, Density Functional Theory Simulations (Codes: VASP, Quantum Espresso, BerkeleyGW, Phonopy, Alamode, Wien2k), 2D van der Waal’s materials (simulation and mechanical exfoliation), Simulating Phonons and excitons, Hands-on experience with Ball- milling, Jet-milling, Sintering, wet-chemical synthesis, hydrothermal synthesis, sol-gel technique, Analysis of SEM, TEM, AFM, XRD, UV-VIS spectroscopy and Electron-spin resonance spectroscopy data, Python for Data Science, IP Analysis, Proposal writing, Research commercialization coursework.
