I am a PhD in Materials Engineering with a multidisciplinary background in Biomedical Sciences and Biophysics, combining over 8 years of research and innovation experience across academia, technological centers, and international collaborations. My expertise spans advanced materials, microfluidics, drug delivery, packaging, and textile-based composites, with applications in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, mobility, and food sectors. I have authored 12+ peer-reviewed publications, contributed to book chapters, and presented invited talks at international conferences. Beyond research, I have led and supported multiple funded projects (Horizon Europe, FCT, PRR), with hands-on experience in grant writing, project management, reporting, and dissemination. This includes securing competitive beamtime grants at European synchrotrons and acting as PI and technical developer in national and EU consortia. My skill set covers scientific and regulatory writing (proposals, technical dossiers, white papers), experimental design, data analysis, and strategic R&D planning.
